Head of Program / Curator of Theater & Dance
For the arts platform We Are Public, I was head of programming and curated the theater and dance programs. I was involved in the planning and implementation of expansions, such as those to Rotterdam and Arnhem. I also programmed festivals and events, such as the Loom events, the We Are Public Awards and Front Row series.
Podcast format
Hôtel Oostpool is a podcast format I developed for and with Theater Oostpool and Jonah Lamers (The Transketeers). It took you right into the lobby of the legendary Chelsea Hotel in New York, where a colorful procession of guests passed by for personal conversations, exciting one-on-ones, music, poetry, and reflection.
Programming, editing and context
I programmed national and international productions for the International Theater Amsterdam (municipal theatre). I also developed various formats and created several contextual programs for the Brandhaarden festival. I also did editorial work for in-depth programs, such as "An Evening With" and "De Alternatieve Nachtmis" (The Alternative Night Mass).
